This duet was my first read from V.F. Mason so I wasn't sure how I was going to like it. Again, WOW! I was sooo surprised by how much I enjoyed this twisted, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching story! If you are a dark romance fan looking for a read filled with suspense, violence, mind games, and tons of twists then trust me you are going to want to get your hands on Madman's Duet! Highly recommend! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ- HOLY HOTNESS! Eduard is a madman, who's an alpha and dominant af! Need I say more?! The chemistry between these two has had sparks flying all over my Kindle! So when hisย Phoenix finally starts listening to her heart... SMOKING HOT!ย Although there were steamy scenes, for the type of book this was, and with the triggers that are in it, the steamy scenes weren't overly done if that makes sense. ๐ŸŒชย โ„‚๐•๐•š๐•—๐•—๐•™๐•’๐•Ÿ๐•˜๐•–๐•ฃ ๐•Ž๐•’๐•ฃ๐•Ÿ๐•š๐•Ÿ๐•˜ - Nope, no cliffhanger! Although the cliffhanger in book one almost made me break my Kindle... This time around our questions have been answered and this tragic story FINALLY has it's happy ending. Buttt... there were a couple characters that we met along the way *cough, Laura and Arson, cough* that I am REALLY hoping we hear more about in the future!ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

HOLY SHIT YA'LL, that table scene... SHEESH! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ ย โ„‚๐•๐•š๐•—๐•—๐•™๐•’๐•Ÿ๐•˜๐•–๐•ฃ ๐•Ž๐•’๐•ฃ๐•Ÿ๐•š๐•Ÿ๐•˜: Nope, no cliffhanger. Hook and Tink's story wrapped up beautifully BUTTTT this is only the beginning of the interconnected Sinister Fairy Tales Collection so there was most definitely some intrigue and mystery left to still be discovered in the next book, Cold Queen!

You guys, if you listen to no other book recommendation from me then listen to this one. Stay With Me completely WRECKED ME! It'sย intense, it's unpredictable and it is so, so heartbreakingly beautiful. Not even kidding this shit broke my heart. Again, this one is far from an easy read, it covers quite a few really sensitive topics, it's intense and you are going to go through a plethora of emotions but I promise you, Ollie and Mia's story is so worth it. These aren't the type of characters and this isn't the type of book that you forget once you finish the last page and move on to the next one. No. This one is going to stay with you. You won't be forgetting Mia or Ollie any time soon.
