But Midnight Mayhem was the stained glass that concealed a very dark culture.

𝘈 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧.

The Brothers of Kiznitch come in fours, and they’re not happy about me being hustled into their acts.

But there’s something uglier that has been haunting me for years upon years. So ugly that I have never seen its face. I never had to. I’d hear his whispers through my internal screams, feel his shadow brush against my nightmares. He was my the monster that tormented me.

HOLY. FUCK.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I thought I would have had SOMETHING to say by now that would relate to you just how freakin CRAZY AMAZING this book is… but I still don’t.

So first off, In Peace Lies Havoc by Amo Jones is NOT a high school bully romance! These characters may be new adults but they are a twisted, dark bunch here to wreak complete havoc! This dark and twisted, crazy amazing world that Amo has created is absolutely riveting! This storyline was NOTHING like I was expecting but I am completely hooked! From the prologue until the epilogue, I was completely enraptured by the world of Midnight Mayhem. I literally had the chills while reading this! It’s just a whirlwind of craziness!! MIND-BLOWING CRAZINESS!!!

❝… always remember that in peace always lies havoc.❞

Life hasn’t been kind to Dove Hendy. After the death of her mother and father when she was a child Dove’s life has a series of ups and downs until she finally ended up in Miami Beach.

Things seem to be looking up for Dove, she has a stable job as a bartender, an apartment that she shares with her boss.

But all that changed in one night when Dove is thrust into the crazy Midnight Mayhem world.

❝ That’ll be the only time I ever get on my knees for you, Little Dove.❞

Midnight Mayhem is filled with a diverse bunch of characters that all-cause havoc in one way or another. Midnight Mayhem is one show, multiple acts, all happening at midnight.

❝ Welcome to Midnight Mayhem. This is neither a circus nor a carnival. This is what happens when the clock strikes twelve and all of the monsters you thought never existed expose themselves.❞

The Brothers of Kiznitch are one of those acts. Kingston, Killian, Kyrin, and Keaton are four dark and broody brothers who do crazy insane stunts… plus a little more.

❝ Well, well, well, look who’s going to be sleeping with monsters.❞

Kingston seems to hate Dove right off the bat for no apparent reason. But when Delila, the woman that runs the show, thinks Dove would be the perfect fit for The Brothers act Dove is then forced to move on to the Brothers bus while they’re touring. Now that King and Dove are in close quarters they have to figure out a way to live together, one that doesn’t get Dove killed…

❝ Revenge isn’t always sweet; sometimes, it’s a bitter reminder of the demons you missed, so you need to cock back, aim, reload, and… bang.❞

Kingston ‘King’ Axton the dark and broody “leader” of the Kiznitch brothers. King has responsibilities that far exceed the show. His family and his brothers mean everything to him. King has no emotions, he turned them off a long, long time ago. But when the Little Dove shows up, she is NOTHING like he expected, leaving King in a state of mayhem. Because even though he doesn’t want her… or CAN’T have her, he’ll be damned if anyone else has her either.

❝ I don’t need to like you to fuck you.❞

But the more time that Dove spends with King and the Brothers, the more she keeps having these crazy flashbacks. They are only glimpses and nothing seems to make any sense but she continues wondering what these flashbacks mean, and WHY all of a sudden have they started now…

You’ll have to read In Peace Lies Havoc to find out!

HOLY. SHIT. I finished In Peace Lies Havoc DAYS ago and I STILL can’t stop thinking about this dark and twisted amazing world. I swear I RARELY ever give out 6-stars, those are reserved my UNICORN reads! In Peace Lies Havoc is one of them! I would give this book sooo many more stars if I could because it absolutely deserves it! This book left me with my jaw on the floor for the majority of the story, and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to binge read it all in a day, or slow down just so that I didn’t have to say goodbye to this world just yet. It’s so hard to explain but it’s like you just KNOW that there is something simmering right on the edge of the story the entire time but it’s so deep under all the suspense and mystery that you CAN’T figure out WHAT it is. But whatever it is, it has you so captivated that you can NOT put it down.

❝ Love is a battlefield, and my knight is a villain.❞

Dove was such a unique, kick-ass character. It took a while to really figure out Dove because she kept her cards close to her chest. She is such a resilient character. No matter what was going on, she just accepted whatever life threw at her and kept it moving. She’s a nice girl but she’s feisty as hell.

❝ I like him like this. I need him like this. His danger has always drawn me in. There’s power that comes with being touched and caressed by a dangerous man.❞

Kingston is a complete savage! He’s dark, broody, dangerous, and completely devious! He doesn’t give a shit about anyone except for his brothers and his family. When he walks into a room you know that he’s the alpha, there’s no doubt about it. King is for sure an anti-hero and I LOVE him. That mouth of his… *SHEESH!* I loved his mean side, but I really loved his “sweet” side, ya can’t really call it sweet because nothing about King is sweet lol, but still it’s the little things like pulling her behind him or having his brothers keep an eye on her (even when he supposedly hated her) when they are in situations where she could be harmed… Finding out WHY, or WHY he was SUPPOSED to hate her so much… just like with everything else in this book, I NEVER saw it coming!

❝ He’s everything you were instilled to fear as a little girl. He’s your father’s worst nightmare and your mother’s wet dream.❞

Dove and King *SIGH* These two have undeniable chemistry right from the start. Even when King was meaner than a rattlesnake towards her, their connection between them was clear as day and was just too strong for them to resist, Sure enough, it wasn’t long before sparks started to fly and when they flew, HOLY HOTNESS! King is an alpha in and out of the bedroom, and that dirty mouth of his… 🔥🔥🔥 OFF THE CHARTS!

❝ I can’t fuckin ’ share you, P. Ever. Even when you’re not mine officially, you’re still mine. That’s how it’s always going to be. I can’t fuckin’ function knowing you’re walking this earth, and it’s not me you’re walking it with. I can’t fuckin’ share you.❞

❝ Kingston: Strong, assertive, broody, intense. Liar. Killian: Playful, devious, trickster. Liar. Keaton: Confident, skeptical, careful. Liar. Kyrin: Manic, Rage, anger, resentment. Liar.❞

Now, just because the main couple is Dove and King doesn’t mean that the rest of the Brothers of Kiznitch didn’t play a HUGE role in this story! These dark, devious, and dangerous boys are completely unpredictable. You don’t know from one minute to the next whether they are going to kiss you or kill you! But there’s no denying they are sexy as hell, with enough devious charm to pull you in. Each of the brothers has their own style, their own personality, their own crazy trait, but what they all have in common is their fierce loyalty to each other. These guys are the definition of anti-heroes, the kind of guys you’ll love to hate and I can NOT wait to see more of them!

❝ Because as much as I like you, Little Bird, The Brothers are my family. This family is deeper than your mind could even imagine. There are secrets and bonds and all kinds of crazy ass shit that you can never know. That’s why you shouldn’t trust me. Because if I was ordered to put a bullet between your eyes, I wouldn’t flinch when doing it…❞

I have to mention the secondary/supporting characters because seriously, EVERY character from this book played a HUGE role, not just the main ones.  Like Delila Patrova, the ringleader I guess you could say. Delila runs the shows and puts the acts together. I like Delila and I would LOVE for her to get her own story too! Rose Kinnish, she’s thrust into Midnight Mayhem the same time as Dove and becomes one of her closest friends. I’m hoping Rose gets her own story… maybe with one of the other Brothers? 😉

❝ Little Bird, don’t provoke the wolf when you’re a sheep.❞

Seeing characters from other Amo books was cool, Manik and Beat from Manik (which I only just read recently) made an appearance which was cool because there’s a scene in Manik where they attend Midnight Mayhem but it was very brief and didn’t go into much detail so it was cool to see that they “came back” again. Nate and Bishop stopped by too! Gahhh, miss them so much so that was a plus for me lol

I am OBSESSED with ALL things AMO JONES! She is a freakin mad genius! I would LOVE to spend one day in her mind! She’s a master storyteller who knows just how to write a story that submerges you so deep into the story that you feel like you are a part of it and not just reading it. She does an excellent job at keeping you guessing, with every twist and turn, my mind had all kinds of theories and while I came close, I NEVER saw that coming.

I am sooo far from done with this Midnight Mayem world! I am completely hooked and I NEED book two, In Fury Lies Mischief, like I need my next breath ya’ll! I highly, highly recommend In Peace Lies Havoc!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – In Peace Lies Havoc left me with my jaw on the floor for the majority of the story, it deserves these 6-stars and sooo many more! It’s twisted, it’s dark, it’s suspenseful, it’s sexy, and there are so many twists that you won’t know where the hell Amo is going to go from one minute to the next! But trust me, you will be completely captivated and NOT be able to put it down!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 – HOLY FREAKIN HOTNESS! King is a total alpha, there is no denying that and his mouth… SHEESH! The chemistry between Dove and King was a living entity from the very start so you can imagine that when they FINALLY came together, sparks were flying all over the place!

🌪 ℂ𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕗𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣 𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 – Nope, no cliffhanger. Dove and King’s story is all wrapped up. In Peaces Lies Havoc can be read as a standalone, but it is the beginning of a new series and I for one can NOT wait for what’s to come next. This story is far from over for me, I’m nowhere near done with this Midnight Mayhem world!
