Condemned to Love

By: Siobhan Davis

Blurb

Her teen crush is now a ruthless killer and powerful mafia heir.
Will one life-altering night unite or destroy them?

Bennett Mazzone grew up ignorant of the truth: he is the illegitimate son of the most powerful mafia boss in New York. Until it suited his father to drag him into a world where power, wealth, violence, and cruelty are the only currency.

Celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Sin City should be fun for Sierra Lawson, but events take a deadly turn when she ends up in a private club, surrounded by dangerous men who always get what they want.

And they want her.

Ben can’t believe his ex’s little sister is all grown up, stunningly beautiful, and close to being devoured by some of the most ruthless men he has ever known. The Vegas trip is about strengthening ties, but he won’t allow his associates to ruin her perfection. Although it comes at a high price, saving Sierra is his only choice.

The memory of Ben’s hands on her body is seared into Sierra’s flesh for eternity. She doesn’t regret that night. Not even when she discovers the guy she was crushing on as a teenager is a cold, calculating killer with dark impulses and lethal enemies who want him dead.

Understanding the risks, she walks away from the only man she will ever love, stowing her secrets securely in her heart. Until the truth becomes leverage and Sierra is drawn into a bloody war—a pawn in a vicious game she doesn’t want to play.

As the web of deceit is finally revealed, Ben will stop at nothing to protect Sierra. Even if loving her makes him weak. In a world where women serve a sole purpose, and alliances mean the difference between life and death, can he fight for love and win?

‘Condemned to Love’ by Siobhan Davis is a standalone, contemporary, mafia romance. I have read quite a few mafia romances and recently I’ve shied away from them because it seems as if it’s the same ol’ song and dance but as always, Ms. Davis comes storming in and blowing them out of the water.

I’ve read just about everything that she has released and if I’m not mistaken, this is her first go in the mafia genre. If I’m right, which I believe I am then I have to say WOW!, way to go, Ms. Davis!

At first glance, this may look just like any other mafia romance, but it’s Siobhan’s magical way of writing and bringing her characters to life that makes Condemned to Love different from the rest.

If you are looking for a contemporary romance in the mafia world filled with suspense, and an epic romance then look no further!

𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝔽𝔸ℂ𝕋𝕊

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Contemporary, Mafia Romance

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Standalone

𝗣𝗢𝗩: Dual

𝗛 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 💙💙💙💙💙 – Bennett is dark and absolutely delicious, I was a little on the punchy side after their night in Vegas… but after Sierra’s attack… he more than made up for it.

𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ – I possibly would have given Sierra four stars, but the way she is as a mother made me go ahead and give her that extra star because she is an absolutely fabulous mother.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮-𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲?: Ummm… not really insta-love, but definitely insta-lust. Sierra has had a crush on Ben since she was a young teen, and although I don’t think he was crushing on her way back then, as he was older, but I do think he saw something special in her.

𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹?: Not that angsty… there was a bit of a push and pull dynamic but not overly emotional.

𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵/𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹?: See above, lol. Yes.

𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺: 🔥🔥🔥 – I really wish we actually got the details of their night together in Vegas… it was kind of a fade to black type of deal once they left the club.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘅?: See above. I want to say yes and no, sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn’t.

𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿?: Bennett for sure. Who doesn’t love a powerful, ruthless man?

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲: No.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Nope.

𝗦𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Yes, twice. Once when Sierra was a child, and again after their one night in Vegas together.

𝗢𝗪/𝗢𝗠 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮: A little… but nothing major. There is some flirting to make the other jealous but that was before they were REALLY together.

𝗦𝗲𝘅 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗪 𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗠: No.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:: Murder, torture. It’s a mafia romance so there are a couple of difficult subjects that could be considered triggers. If you would like to know more about what those subjects are, feel free to DM me

– The H does try and push the h away and he’s very callous in the way he does it.

– Does not have over the top sad parts, although when Ben first meets Rowan and again when Rowan asks Ben if… well I can’t say it lol, but it definitely had me a little teary-eyed but in a good way.

𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: Nope, Condemned to Love is a standalone, Bennett, Sierra, and Rowan get their happily ever after but I’m hoping to see them again in upcoming books from this world.

𝕎𝕆𝕌𝕃𝔻 𝕀…?

𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸? Yes!

𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀? It’s standalone, BUT if Siobhan wanted to continue the story… maybe with a couple of the other characters perhaps… I would totally read it!

𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸? Yes, if you are a fan of mafia romance then I highly recommend Condemned to Love!
