Happy Saturday & Happy Halloween, Bibliophiles!

What are you doing to celebrate Halloween?
How or have your normal traditions changed this year?
With all of this COVID-19 stuff going on the way we ordinarily do things has changed ALOT.
October was a crazy month for me.
Unfortunately, at the end of September, I caught the dreaded coronavirus.
Thankfully, I was only sick for about two weeks but taking time off of work from my regular job really threw me for a loop and the change in my schedule had my anxiety at an all-time high. Plus with all of the ARC’s I had for October, I was super busy! BUT, I was luckily still able to squeeze in a few TBR’s and Audibles.
November will be a bit hectic for me so I won’t get nearly as many books read/listened to as I did this month. We recently just purchased a NEW houseboat and within the next two weeks we should have it in our slip. Then of course comes the dreaded process of moving all of our stuff from our old house boat to the new houseboat… Tons of fun, NOT! But we are so excited to finally have it here and get back onto the water!

— October Wrap Up —
*** = ARC
🎧 = Audio
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Annndddd that’s a wrap!
Sooo many amazing reads (and listens!) in October.
There were a couple audios on there that I had read before but usually if I am going to re-read something, it’s because I’m listening to the audio version of it.
Like, the Broken Love Series by B.B. Reid. I read those books a couple of years ago but when I saw that they were on Audible Escape, I couldn’t help but give them another go.
Same thing for My Torin by K. Webster, I still love that book just as much as I did the first time I read it. Torin is… *sigh* there’s literally no words for Torin, or that book for that matter. I’m pretty sure that’s why I was unable to write a review way back when I first read it, and still, my second time around and I STILL can not find the words to put into a review to accurately describe My Torin.

— Goodreads 2020 Reading Challenge —
Goal: 200
Read: 216

I have officially surpassed my goal of 200 books for 2020 and we still have two months left of the year!
Looks like next year my reading challenge goal will be 250 books!!!

I’m currently reading and listening to a few things! I have FOUR expected ARC’s in October.
Here’s to hoping that the majority are five-star reads!
Some of my favorite authors have releases coming up this month so I’m excited to see what they have in store!

🎧 I’m currently LISTENING to…
📖 I’m currently READING…

I only have four ARC’s coming up in October so most of my time will be spent on TBR reads and of course a couple audibles along the way too!
📚 I’ll be READING…
Honestly, I haven’t decided yet. I have SOOOOOOO many books on my TBR and I plan on going thought it and trying to categorize my bookshelves a little better to make it easier to figure out which ones are books that I really, REALLY want to read, and which ones are ones I’d just kind of like to read… 🤦 That’s the plan anyway, we shall see.
🎧 I’ll be LISTENING to…
Tempting Devils (Sinners & Saints #2) by Veronica Eden
Ruthless Bishop (Sinners & Saints #3) by Veronica Eden
Liar (Madison Kate #2) by Tate James
Fake (Madison Kate #3) by Tate James
Anddd, since Kate (Madison Kate #4) by Tate James has JUST released TODAY, (which is why I waited to listen to the other books…) it isn’t on Audible yet SOO that is definitely one book I WILL be reading this month too!

📝 ARC’s Coming Up In November…
Tell Me When It’s Over by B. Celeste (Releases Nov. 05)
Yours (Beautiful Sinner Series) by Elena M. Reyes (Releases Nov. 06)
Break Me by Meagan Brandy (Releases Nov. 13)
Bound Together (Torn & Bound Duet #2) by K. Webster & Nikki Ash (Releases Nov. 17)
