Rogue. Troublemaker. Bad Boy. Delinquent.
Everyone thinks they know who I am, but they know nothing.
And that’s how I prefer it.
Keeping my demons under lock and key is my only survival tactic.
Until a gorgeous feisty bartender enters my life, turning it upside down. Presley captivates me in a way no woman ever has, and I canโ€™t get her out of my mind.
Sheโ€™s determined to resist me, but Iโ€™m equally stubborn and more than up for the challenge. Winning her trust, and her heart, becomes everything because she shows me a future worth fighting for.
But the consequences of my tortured past are far-reaching, and if I donโ€™t let her go, I’ll only drag Presley down this dark hole with me.

Since I aged out of the foster system, Iโ€™ve worked hard for my dream future, and itโ€™s so close.
Too close to let some arrogant rich playboy distract me.
Iโ€™ve heard all about Kent Kennedy, and with my history of troubled bad boys, I need his attention like a hole in the head.
Except heโ€™s nothing I expected and everything I never dared to dream of. As I slowly uncover the truth, I discover a broken man with a big heart who desperately needs someone to see him.
I want to be that person, but his demons loom large, and I donโ€™t know if Iโ€™m strong enough to do this again.
When the past rears its ugly head, shattering everything, will there be anything left of my heart to protect?

Although Reforming Kent IS a standalone, I absolutely recommend reading the rest of the Kennedy Boys Series in order to gain a better grasp and understanding of the Kennedy family dynamic, as well as to have a better reading experience. the Kennedy Boys Series is about a dysfunctional family whoโ€™s had their fair share of scandal and drama, and itโ€™s all played out in the public eye. Over the years I have become so invested in this family that as much as I wanted to dive right into Reforming Kent, I held off. I wanted to prolong the pain of finally saying goodbye as long as I possibly could but boy oh boy, once I did jump inโ€ฆ it was impossible to put it down! The series is finally complete and I guarantee once you start, you wonโ€™t be able to put them down! Reforming Kent was no different, I was so excited to see the bad boy black sheep finally meet the woman who knocks him to his knees.

Siobhan Davis is an incredible author. She doesnโ€™t shy away from the tough subjects that most romance authors try and avoid which is exactly why she is one of my top one-click authors and I donโ€™t see that changing any time soon. Just when I think โ€œOh yeah, sheโ€™s outdone herself and there is no topping this one!โ€ she releases another unputdownable story that has me eating my words! Davis has truly outdone herself with Reforming Kent. If you are a fan of the Kennedyโ€™s then you know that from the very beginning readers always knew that SOMETHING was going on with Kent, and now we finally have the answers to why this bad boy was so, soo bad. Over the years readers of the Kennedy Boys Series have seen just how bad this bad boy can be but after reading Adoring Keatonโ€ฆ I had just about lost hope for one of my favorite Kennedyโ€™s and I questioned how on earth Davis was going to be able to reform the ultimate bad boy and make him a character that readers could root for. And once again, Davis made me eat my words!

๐Ÿ’™ (๐ป) ๐ป๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ: Kent Kennedy, the troubled bad boy, the black sheep, the playboy, the troublemaker. Throughout the Kennedy Boys Series, we have watched Kent push his self-destruct button over and over again. Heโ€™s ruined his relationship with the majority of his family members (especially Keaton, one of his triplets) while he abused drugs, alcohol, and sex. He made it hard to like him, much less love him.

But in rare vulnerable moments, we have seen that there could be another side of Kent. Those moments are what drew me to him. There was no doubt that there was SOMETHING that had happened or that was going on with Kent to make him act out the way he was but with each new Kennedy book we only were left with more questions about what was going on with Kent.

His story was one I never saw coming. I never could have imagined that the meanest boy of the series was the most broken one. Everything you think you know about Kent, think again. By the end of the book, the transformation that we see in Kent is MINDBLOWING. We finally meet the actual Kent Kennedy and it was an absolute pleasure.

We were first introduced to Presley at the end of Adoring Keaton and I just KNEW that she was going to have Kent on his knees! I immediately fell for Pres! Sheโ€™s independent, strong, resilient, compassionate, street smart, courageous, caring, and loyal. Sometimes loyal to a faultโ€ฆ Presley gave just as good as she got and she didnโ€™t just throw caution to the wind and give into Kent like most of his conquest nor did she hold all those preconceived notions against him because of the way the media portrays himโ€ฆ well not for long anyway. Very quickly Pres sees that there is much more to Kent than meets the eye.

I didnโ€™t want to but because she has been such a HUGE part of Kentโ€™s story over the years in the other stories, I couldnโ€™t not mention the Wicked Witch of New Yorkโ€ฆ Whitney. Plus I know that some readers were shocked/confused/upset/glad when they found out Whitney was NOT Kentโ€™s forever love, I myself canโ€™t say that I was upsetโ€ฆ AT ALL! That relationship was completely toxic and there was so much BAD that Whitney (and Kent too!) had done that there was no way that relationship could have been turned around, I despised Whitney for the way she treated Faye and I just couldnโ€™t see HER being the one who saved our bad boy and helped make him become the best person he could be as our other heroines have done with their Kennedy boy.

Last but certainly not least, Imogen, Presleyโ€™s best friend. I am keeping my fingers AND toes crossed hoping for a book about her and Rafe!

Although the book was a perfect way to end this amazing series, itโ€™s the end of the series and now we have to say goodbye to the fictional family that we all know and love. BUTโ€ฆ there is a whole lot of kids, who knows maybe weโ€™ll get a second-generation series?!?! (HINT, HINT Siobhan!)

If you would like to know more about what those subjects are, feel free to DM me, I would rather not post since they would definitely be considered spoilers.

He straightens up, pushing off the door, and I instantly miss his closeness. His perplexed eyes probe mine, and he rocks back on his heels. โ€œI donโ€™t know what Iโ€™m doing here except I like it.โ€

โ€œI like it too.โ€ I fist a hand in his shirt, reeling him back in. โ€œDonโ€™t first dates usually end with a goodnight kiss?โ€ I arch a brow, attempting to drown out the stampeding butterflies careening around my chest, praying he doesnโ€™t notice how my entire body is trembling at having him this near.

โ€œI wouldnโ€™t know.โ€ His gaze fixes on my mouth. โ€œThis is the first date Iโ€™ve ever gone on.โ€
I blink repeatedly, staring at him in shock, trying to find the lie behind those words but only finding truth. โ€œAre you seriously telling me that Iโ€™m your first date at age twenty-three?โ€

โ€œThat shocks you?โ€ He places his hands on my hips.

โ€œYes,โ€ I truthfully reply. โ€œHow does that even happen?โ€ He is gorgeous and charming and I know heโ€™s had girls crawling all over him.

โ€œNever met a girl I wanted to ask out on a date.โ€

My heart swells behind my rib cage. โ€œIโ€™m honored you chose me, and I hope it lived up to your expectation.โ€

He clasps one side of my face in his large palm. โ€œI didnโ€™t know what to expect, beyond getting to know you a little more, and it more than lived up to that.โ€ His eyes lower to my mouth, and his pupils darken with blatant desire. โ€œIโ€™m giving you that goodnight kiss now,โ€ he adds, his voice thick with lust, before his mouth descends upon mine.

Time stops. The world around us no longer exists. There is only the touch of his hand on my face, the feel of his erection pushing against my stomach, and the hypnotic taste of his lips as his mouth moves skillfully against mine.
