Think of a modern-day Romeo and Juliet but with cartels, drugs, and they don’t die at the end. 🤷‍♀️

Corrupt had a great storyline, characters that I couldn’t get enough of (even though Solimar wasn’t my favorite- I like my heroines a little tougher), after the prologue the pace did slow a bit but it picked up very quickly once Solimar came on the scene.

I adore Elena M. Reyes’s writing! Seriously, she’s an amazing author who knows exactly how to weave a story that will suck you in from the first page to the last page. Plus, the woman sure knows how to write those steamy scenes, I mean SHEESH!!! If you’ve read any of Reyes’s releases then you already know exactly what I mean! 🔥🔥🔥

As a small child, she was always intrigued by all forms of art—whether it was dancing to island rhythms, or painting with any medium she could get her hands on.

Her first taste of writing came to her during her fifth-grade year when her class was prompted to participate in the D. A. R. E. Program and write an essay on what they’d learned.

Her passion for reading over the years has amassed her with hours of pleasure. It wasn’t until she stumbled upon fanfiction that her thirst to write overtook her world.

She now resides in Central Florida with her husband and son, spending all her downtime letting her creativity flow and characters grow.
