My Review

Choke Me is the second installment from the KKinky Reads Collection by K. Webster and Ker Dukey. Told in dual POV, this quick and kinky novella features breath play.

The first time Ren Hayes sees the nerdy blonde bombshell, Natasha Washington, he was in court, on trial for the murder of Natasha’s best friend Kate Rose, and Natasha… Natasha was testifying against him.

When Ren Hayes is found not guilty for Kate’s murder, Natasha makes it her mission to make Ren’s life miserable until she can procure justice for her best friend.

Ren and his brother Ronan own Harose Records, Ronan is their financial guy, and Ren is the talent agent. So while he’s out at gigs scouting new artist, Natasha is EVERYWHERE.

After 6 months of following Ren around, Natasha finally confronts him.

Then when she finds a journal entry written by Kate, she starts to wonder if Ren is really responsible for Kate’s murder or not.

You guys, OMG! This one is smoking HOT! Since it’s a quick and kinky novella the “love/action” starts fairly quickly, which I’m sure some will think is way too quick butttt again, it’s a novella, not a full-length novel so you kind of figure that going in.

“Make me come, beautiful. I want to fill you the fuck up.”

These two have chemistry so hot it’ll burn your kindle! The sex scenes were EVERYTHING, detailed just enough that you will most definitely be needing a panty change and I highly recommend NOT reading this one in public! LOL

These ladies on their own are absolutely amazing authors, TOGETHER they are unstoppable! After reading their Elite Seven Series installment of Greed that they co-wrote I already knew this KKinky Reads Collection was going to be something I couldn’t miss out on, then after reading Book #1 of the Collection, Share Me, I was completely hooked! Choke Me, HOLY SHIT, I was not expecting THIS at all, but sheesh I can’t wait to see what comes next!

“I don’t want to die.” “You won’t,” he promises with a labored groan. “You will come alive.”

The only thing I really didn’t care for is the multiple scenes with OTHER women, I don’t prefer it but it’s not a HUGE deal to me as it is to some, I just feel like it cheapens what the protagonists have together. I also would have liked to see the person responsible for killing Kate, punished. BUT I also understand why Natasha did what she did, better to keep him on a short leash that’s for sure.

It seems that Ren’s big brother Ronan is into Daddy kink so I am REALLY hoping that the next book may feature him and maybe the singer that had the controlling brother that Ren was scouting at the end??? I’m keeping my fingers crossed because that’s one story I would LOVE to read!

Choke Me is on a level all on its own and as the authors say, if you like the kind of sex that leaves a mark, this one is for you! If you are looking for a quick and kinky read then I HIGHLY recommend checking this one out!
