My Review

This series MUST be read in order, if you have not read the other stories in the series then do NOT read any further, this review will contain spoilers from previous books.

The long-awaited conclusion to the Elite Seven Series, Greed by Ker Dukey & K. Webster is HERE and it has surpassed every single one of my expectations! I knew these two authors coming together was going to be MAGIC but I am blown away! The writing was flawless, and Greed wraps up this series in an EPIC jaw-dropping way! We FINALLY have answers to all the questions that we still had, including where the hell Sabella had been. In Sloth we found out that she was, in fact, alive but where has she been all these months? Sit back ladies and gentlemen because it all comes to light in this one and you DO NOT want to miss it!

Greed is Micah Dixon’s story.

Two years ago Micah Dixon made a deal with his father for the safety of his best friend and his little sister. That deal came at a cost but as long as they were safe… it was worth it. But the people who made the deal didn’t honor their side and now Micah is willing to do whatever it takes to find and save them. Knowing that The Elite is involved in their disappearance he knows he must join if he ever hopes to find answers.

But imagine his surprise when meeting his elite brothers for the first time and there standing as Pride, is his missing best friend, Mason Blackwell. Now that Micah has Mason and Evie back in his life as well as his newfound brothers, he is determined to make the Elite suffer for what they’ve done to them ALL.

But, his plans are put on the back burner when he finds the girl they all thought was gone forever, killed by one of their very own brothers is hidden away from the world and any of the people seeking to use her or cause her harm while she heals from the attack.

Sabella Gunner isn’t the same girl that we met in Pride’s story, or even in Envy’s story. She’s not the prim and proper, good southern mannered girl that she used to be. Manners and helping people got her into the predicament she was in with Sebastian and she will never allow that to happen again.

“Sebastian killed that girl. The innocence and dreams the old Sabella had are gone. This new me is trying to navigate through her own dreams that might resemble nightmares to most.”

Sabella has been through so much that she’s not quite ready for a relationship but yet she can’t deny that there is an attraction between her and Micah. She feels safe with him and safe is exactly what she needs right now. Being patient is the last thing Micah usually is but the more time he spends with Sab, the more he sees how worth the wait she is.

Slowly but surely, Micah and Sabella’s bond continues to grow until that broken girl becomes stronger than she ever was before, and Micah is by her side the whole way through.

“My life was nothing special, then it was a nightmare. I barely crawled out of hell right into the lap of happiness. Happiness has a big dick, an even bigger heart, and he’s mine.”

What happens when Mason finds out Micah has known where his twin was? HA! Well, you will just have to check out Greed to find out!

The romance in this series has usually taken a backseat to the brotherhood aspect, but not this one. Although we still get the closure that we all have been waiting for, the romance aspect is on point! I’m pretty sure these two have stolen the top spot for favorite couple ❤ And it just makes it that much better that I had NO IDEA that Sab was going to be Micah’s love interest, I along with most swore it was going to be Evie! Must say I was pleasantly surprised.

This group,  not just the boys of the Elite but the ladies, the “Holy Virtues” have all been affected by the Elite in some way or another and in Greed, they FINALLY get the justice that they ALL deserve.

“We’re what a real brotherhood is. When they chose us, they chose poorly, because they thought we could be pulled by strings. How fucking wrong they were. We are the storm, and we’ve made land— no time left to flee. No surrendering.”

I have loved this series and every (well almost) character in it. Rhett and Chastity, Mason and Megan, Sammy and Patience, God and Zemira, Rush and Isabelle, Micah and Sabella, and even Evie. I know there is a lot of mixed reviews but I loved it, there were some flaws, nothing is ever perfect but the positives far outweighed the negatives and every single one of these books was a 4-5 star read for me. Getting introduced to new authors that otherwise I probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to check out otherwise was my favorite part. These authors put their heart and soul into every installment in this series and I have thoroughly enjoyed them.

Vengeance and redemption, drama and angst, mystery and suspense, romance and love, and soo many twists and turns that you’ll never see them coming! I highly recommend Greed along with the rest of the series.
