My Review

Delinquent by Ally Vance is book #9 in the Cavalieri Della Morte Series! I have loved this series so much, mostly because I’ve found so many new authors that otherwise I may not have had the opportunity to find. Ally is not one of those authors though, I have been obsessed with her work ever since I read Flower In The Dark and as usual, she did NOT disappoint! Delinquent is part of the Cavalieri Della Morte Series but can be read as a standalone, told in dual POV.

“I’m the delinquent who doesn’t play by any rules, not even my own.”

Seth Galahad at 19 years old has been a collector for the Tabella Della Morte, another one of Arthur’s loyal knights for 4 years, ever since he walked into his home and found his mother murdered. Seth is sent in to collect when the men and women who borrow or barter with Arthur Calthorpe don’t pay up.

“Pay what you owe in cash or pay it in blood.”

When Seth makes his way to Club Wicked to collect a debt from his latest target, Caryn, he gets more then he bargained for. Caryn offering up an innocent woman to buy herself more time. Even though Seth knows he shouldn’t and that Arthur would be pissed, he can’t just leave the girl being used as a bartering chip there but he can’t let her go either, not until he finds out what she has to do with all this. So, trusting his gut, Seth takes her home with him.

That ending HOLY SHIT! I did NOT see that one coming! I can’t even say more than that without spoiling it but DAMNNNNN Ally way to drop a bomb!!!

Will Seth follow his oath and see this through to the end? Or will he change the rules up for the ‘pretty girl’ he’s falling for?

Shew, secrets from the past are revealed and take this book to a whole other level, it’s a romance but it’s so much MORE too. Ally is an amazing writer and she pulled out all the stops in Delinquent!

Seth, this sexy bad boy is totally reckless and he for sure shows his age BUT he’s also a sweetheart, I mean come on, everyone loves a dirty-talkin’ bad boy! He’s gone through so much in his young life, including the murder of his mother that has shaped him into the man he is today.

Leann, she’s defiant and mouthy and she takes no shit from Seth, which only makes him want her more, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like her character at first but she won me over when she made her decision in the end… I’m trying sooo hard not to tell spoilers!

These two together, HOLY HOTNESS ya’ll! The steamy scenes were literally fogging up my Kindle! The chemistry between these two was fire and every single time they argued and bickered it was like throwing more gasoline on the flames!

I have enjoyed this series SO much, each installment has just gotten better and better. I know that once it finally is over I’m going to be in serious book hangover mode but I can’t wait all the same. I’m really hoping that the series concludes with Arthur’s story because even though at first I hated him, I have to admit there is a method to his madness and everything he does is for a reason.

Secrets, suspense, romance, and so many twist and turns you won’t know what’s coming next! I HIGHLY recommend Delinquent as well as the rest of the Cavalieri Series!
